Re: New images

I feel I need to throw a couple of cents into this. I run IE 5.5 with WinME
and had no problems loading Symon's site and viewing any of the several
images I chose to view. Acrobat works just fine on my system and my system
at work which runs NT4.0, same browser.

Please bear with me while I state a couple of opinions about Symon's site.

One, I agree that the interface is a bit awkward and the "star" images are
annoying, but the navagation is not all that difficult to follow. I found
that the images loaded quickly and, in my browser, loaded scaled to my
window. I did not have to scroll to see any of the image. And I only have
a 15" monitor.

Two, let's not forget the main point of posting the images in the first
place. Symon, your images are facinating. When I opened the first image, I
was caught completely off-guard. Fish-eye is not something that I am
experienced with, but these images display a unique perspective. Many
people may be put off by this perspective, but I guarantee they won't forget
it. I applaud the point of view
and the creative vision.

A question: Would you mind elaborating on the technique used to produce the
images. I am very interested in the creative thought process and would be
interested in reading your perspective and process.
