Acrobat PDF documents (here the images) have several advantages over common
graphics files, to name just a few :
- security (printing/changing can be prohibited) and fingerprinting
(digital sigature can be added)
- bookmark and general info (author/title/subject) can be inclueded
- the initial viewing size can be set
- images displayed on a web page can be rotated and zoomed.
If you can integrate the reader with your browser, please refer the
instructions posted on the top page of my site

Todd:

Very sorry for wasting your time. I will change the thumbnails to more
normal ones later.
Dan :
>Same here, Can't see the images, sorry.
What's your problem on viewing them ? Acrobat Reader ?
Don :
>I have no idea why you did a couple of things. Thumbnails would be much more
>useful than the "stars" and why do you need Acrobat Reader for the images?
I think what you mean is the normal thumbnails. Will change it to normal
ones later. Issues of Acrobat Reader are answered as above.
>That seems to be a terrible way to handle it. I couldn't view your photos
because
>the bottom half was cut off on my screen.
It might be due to the your display resolution was not set to 1024x768. If
your Acrobat Reader can integrate with your browser, you can see the images
with the central frame. Moreover, there is always a tool bar on the top of
a displayed images, you can use it to change the zoom ratio.
>I think you need to work out some major problems on your site. You link to a
>number of other sites with good design features; study them.
Yes, the URLs my site linked to have good design. Actually, PDF documents
(here the images) are not terrible as you thought. There are many web sites
that use Acrobat PDF (portable document format) to present their documents.
For images presentation, I am not lonely, please refer to one of our
memeber's web site : http://www.bigbenpublishing.com.au/gallery/

Symon
