Then again, without a site, nobody can see the images.  The two work together.

I don't believe that anyone is mentioning anything about site design outside of
the usability of it.  A number of people here know little about Web site design
because they are using their time to create images (and site design may not be
of interest to them).  If they do share their work with us (thank you for doing
so, as we all learn from you), they may not realize that something that works
so well locally on their PC may not do so well on the Web.

I believe that this is where the site discussion is appropriate.  I don't see
any messages commenting on the lack of "cool" on anyone's site (that would be
inappropriate), but the comments noting the difficulty seeing the images
(they're too small, too hard to get to, in the wrong format, etc.) will help
the person share their work.  That means that we get better examples and can
better learn from each other.
