Since you said Please...

- Name:

Bill

- Profession/Study:

hmmmmm......What is today?

- Country:

US

- Personal history of photography:

Started with an Argus C3 that was my father's when I was 10, got an OM-1n
in the
service and used that for a few years, but took a few year hiatus after
that. Got back
into light trapping ~11 years ago and have been doing it since

- Preferred subjects:

For trannies/print film: Landscapes/People/Macro/Meteor showers* (when
available)
*trannies only

For BW: People/Landscapes/Abstract

- Materials (film, filters, paper, chemistry):

Uh...going back to Kodak64 after I run out of Velvia, Have been rolling HP5
for BW
for the last year and like it (was using Tri-X before, along with some
T-Max)
Don't have a preference for color print stuff...

Don't use filters too often, but have been known to use the red25 if the
sky needs more
than a C-Polarizer will do...have some ND's to change the texture of water
or get rid of
people if I need to...have a bunch of Cokins sitting in a bag somewhere for
silly occasions.

For making soup, I prefer 2 courses, and use Diafine with the HP5 (and
everything else
now)

I don't have an enlarger, so I can't make my own prints (yet!) But I've
been spending
some time learning PhotoShop 5.5 (mostly for dust control and playing with
contrast
and solarization)

- Format (35mm/medium format/large format):

35 is all I can afford <g>

- Other strange hobbies:

Don't you have to *have* a strange hobby to have other strange hobbies?

- How did you find out about this list:

Searching for anyone who has souped HIE in Diafine showed up nil on the
net, so I figured I'd go to the people (you know who you are) that use HIE
and also do their own developing, and ask.

Diafine seems to not care about the times -- 3min in A and 3min in B no
matter what type of BW film you use. BUT! Diafine seems to want you
to up-rate the ASA (or whatever they're calling it this year <g> ) I.E.
1000 for
Tri-X, 800 for HP5, etc, etc...I was *planning* on using HIE @ 400 with the
red25 in place as I use internal metering, but if anybody can point me in
a different direction 'cause I'm getting ready to waste a roll, please do
so!

- In case you already have your own IR-Gallery on the web, please
state the URL/address: (I will then also add your site to the overview of
IR-Galleries on my homepage!....think of the fame you can get....:-))

Maybe some day -- if my server cooperates for any length of time...

- Expand on anything photographic you like:

After taking a cursory tour of the gallery...I'm sick to my stomach -- and
can't
wait till spring to take the film out of the freezer to see what I can do.
Some people have really good eyes here... maybe someday I'll be able to
get those kinds of images too...
