'Processed to archival standards' usually means that a FB print is
meticulously processed, fixed in fresh or preferably 2 bath fixer, often
toned in an archival toner such as Selenium, sulphide or gold, or some other
life enhancing combination like Polytoner, or possibly in Sistan. It is then
bathed in hypoclear and washed to archival standards.
