Infrared film IS different than normal B&W.  Why are you concerned about
light spilling outside the frame?  It's probably just slight over-agitation?
It's not the camera, because I shoot IR all the time in my N90s.

works fine in my 90. light spilling is lack of anti-halation coating. is exposure related.
