[MF3D.FORUM:27] Re: Third Friday Stereo Diner Report

Wow, that is a better Stereo Dinner report that I could have written,
that's for sure. I would add a few small details.

1. The guy with the barrier prints, John, also brought a laptop for
showing live barriers. He brought it out at the very end of the
night. We have sent a number of emails back and forth as we both
worked on printed and laptop barriers.

2. The fellow to my right (whose name I have forgotten) brought some
2x2 stereo slides, but his homemade viewer broke on him. He has come
to other dinners, and I would have liked to have seen his work.

3. Brian's airplane slides were superb. The lighting that day was
awfully nice, and with the tripod, the slides were sweet. Very
dramatic.

4. I'd like to thank Greg Erker for allowing me to keep his fireworks
and fisheye slides a few extra weeks so they could be shown. They
were very well received.

5. This was about the perfect sized crowd, with plenty of slides and
prints being passed around. There have been times in the past 14
months when it was just Brian and me and our wives, but the event has
gotten some momentum now. I had a blast.

Tom

I'm sorry this response is late. My ISP is having authentication
problems. I've been able to check my email only a couple times in
the last few weeks. Last night, the tech support supervisor gave me
HIS password so I could check my email. (137 waiting.) No idea when
this response will get through.
