[MF3D.FORUM:54] Test of immersion feel

I tried out the scenario that I proposed in my last message. (Use a
viewer lens with a f.l. of the negative horiz. distance)
I have a MF viewer with triple achromats for a 60mm f.l.; and a full
frame 35 viewer with triple achromats for a 39mm f.l.
Practically speaking the medium format viewer will cover just to image
edges, and the full frame 35 will cover to just inside the left and
right edges. That's as close as I can get.
There is no doubt that the full frame 35 gives a great image feel, but
the top and bottom edges form a "slot" feel to it. The MF image fills
the entire lens dia. field of view and definitely feels more immersive.
But both are very effective. Grain is more evident in the 35mm viewer
of course (both used 100 speed film).
No revelations here, just a quick test.
