Santa Cruz (100 south of SF). I would be happy to have anyone on the list
visit if you are in the area. We have plenty of room for overnight guests.

Eventually it will be there, but don't hold your breath. Too many things to
do.

The one that Reel 3D sells works pretty well although the one I use most
often is sturdier but does not have a brand name on it and I don't know what
it is (a friend gave it to me). While my exposures are seldom shorter than
1/4 sec. I occasionally shoot subjects which are in motion and require
pretty good synchronization. A good double cable release should have some
kind of adjustment. If you are careful you can get them pretty close. I
have done a number of motion shots of water and they don't have to be
perfect if the exposures are long. I'm sure there are others on the list who
know more than I about sychronizing shutters though.

Reasonable, but even with a very sturdy tripod a single 4x5 camera will tend
to tilt the bar somewhat. When I first did this (probably several hundred
pairs about 15 years ago) I was using 2 tripods with a 3' bar for stability.
It was a lot of work. Probably easier to relevel the bar after you move the
camera.
But to view on your viewer, you have to

yes

I have a group of stereo cards (including viewer) circulating right now. I
will be happy to put you or anyone else who is interested on the list. It
should be about a month or so until it gets back to me.
