Magic tape or silver tape.  Regular transparent tape is

It is silver mylar tape.  Although not necessary, it does
make for a much nicers looking final product, if applied
neatly.  I recommend buying it from Rocky Mountain Memories,
at rmm3d.com.  ;-)   You'lll save compared to buying "that
other brand" from other 3D vendors.
