Of course the "Spud" will blow a Realist away. Look at the 
difference in picture size for starters.The T22 lenses are very good 
indeed when used at "Stereo" apertures like f8 f11 f16 etc. Most 
owners that I know have "Flocked" the insides to remove 
reflections. I think that one problem regarding image degradation is 
caused with minor light leaks which degrade the image. The 
"Spud" was (and is) well know for that. I think that that is why there 
are so many cheap ones on Ebay.
