What about making a mold from the FED lens shades? 
They fit the Sputnik perfectly. It should be possible 
to copy them, but I have no idea how difficult or 
expensive that would be. Anyone out there familiar 
with this sort of thing? I remember molding objects 
in sand and pouring metal into the sand molds in 
junior high school shop.
