[MF3D.FORUM:506] Mounting gauges

Could someone with one of the mounting gauges that
Joel made for the RMM MF stereo mounts measure the
spacing of the vertical lines and post the stats
here? I have a source file for printing gauges, but
I'm wondering whether it might need some tweaking.

I specifically need to know:
  a) Does the spacing of the "Near" verticals exactly
match the spacing of the apertures?

  b) What is the spacing between the "Near" and "Far"
     verticals?

  c) Should the spacing of the near verticals exactly
match the mount aperture spacing, or should it be
a bit greater to ensure the closest object stays
     behind the window?

  d) What do you think the spacing between the "Near"
and "Far" verticals should be? Presumably it
should be the MAOFD for the format, but I've heard
a range of recommended MAOFD values for MF stereo.
Can we reach a consensus on what it should be?

Thanks,
Paul Talbot
