You could use mirrors to reduce the seperation. Ideally each camera
would have a pair of mirrors acting like a sideways periscope. The
cameras can be seperated as much as you like with a mirror centered on
each camera lens. The center mirrors would be 62mm apart.

You could probably get away with one pair of mirrors on one camera only.
The object distance from the camera with the mirrors would be greater
than the object distance from the camera without the mirrors, but only
by a few inches. So it might not matter that only one camera uses a pair
of mirrors.
