No, John, it wasn't you.  It's just a funny thing about
discussion groups.  When the discussions get going a lot
of people suddenly want to bow out.  ;-)  Remember just
over a month ago someone had to post an "anybody here?"
message just to see whether the list still worked.  It
will die down again; this list has always had a lot of
peaks and valleys.

Some folks' situations aren't well suited to having a lot
of individual messages hitting their mailbox in short
periods of time, so digest mode is recommended for them.
