Greg

This is all around excellent advise to trouble shoot stereo problems. I
think Paul found my problem.... it's the 2.7 I use in the formula which was
not matched up to the viewer. I have noticed that when shooting with one
camera, at 65mm spacing...it works very well.... I have tried a few shots
with two cameras at 65mm spacing and they work well also... I did not shoot
one camera at the min. spacing of 6.5", which would have helped isolated
where the problems were... I will try that, great "process of elimination
experiment"

I am hoping Pauls fix of moving the viewer lenses further apart is the right
one...

Regards
Bill G

I've been too busy at work to read all
of Bill's emails in detail. But to find
out the problems I would shoot the same
scene several times: once with the two
Mamiya's at minimum spacing. Next with
a single camera shifting over an amount
equal to the two camera min spacing.
Third with a single camera shifted 2.5".
And forth with two cameras but simulating
a 2.5" stereo base (ie. shoot with left
camera then remove left camera and mount
right camera 2.5" over and shoot with it).

From these four shots you should be
able to see if excessive base is the problem
(1 and 2 bad). If lens missmatch is the
problem (1 and 4 bad).

Or just send your existing slides to Tom
or some other old timer and let them try
to analyze them.
