I just got what I believe is a Mamiya "universal" camera which
came with
a 6X7 roll film back and has a "back" bellows. Like David
Williams, I was
initially wondering about mounts, but my initial roll of film
shows me that
for slide-overs the extra centimeter is a nice bit of leeway
to put macros
in the 6X6 Spicer mounts, since my previous tries at macros
with a 6X6
"Argoflex" on a slide bar needed to go into the Spicer
"portrait" mounts.
If I come up with a 6X9 back for the camera ,or get the sheet
film holder,
then I'll start dreaming about bigger mounts and wether a some
what
widened interoccular on a viewer will accomodate the big
slides?
Have any of you with a MF viewer that has adjustable
interoccular tried it
with, say, a pair of Gepe MF mounts side by side? (spreading
the lenses
a bit)
MF Regards,
John Billingham
