Stuart

In the past few years, I have pushed over 50 8x10 shots, 200 4x5 shots
and at least 100 rolls of 220. Unfortunately non in stereo. From what I
have learned and experienced in 2d, the new Provia F pushed one stop to 200,
is less grainy than any 200 ISO film on the market. But pushed two stops,
it will become more grainy then using Fuji 100 - 1600 film shot at 400.
This will probably hold true until Fuji comes out with the new Provia 400 F
late this year.

The reason I had asked if anyone had tried pushing film in stereo is as
follows: when I shot with some Kodak 100 VS in stereo, I noticed slight
visible grain in the viewer which surprised me, because 4x magnification
should not bring out grain...however, VS does have a reputation of being a
bit grainy... but Kodak will not release rms values on it? So thats why I
was curious if anyone had experience pushing these films for stereo. The
viewer seems very unforgiving in so many ways!

Paul, did you run those tests with the Provia F pushed one and two stops?
