I was having some problems with dirt in the emulsion
of rolls a particular lab was processing via dip and
dunk. So I finally came up with the idea of instructing
them to hold the film until they changed the chemicals
and then put my rolls through in the fresh stuff. The
results were much better. Doesn't help if you are in
a big rush, but it worked well for me.
