1) I am not willing, or able, to "butcher my Rolleidescope" as I don't
have one.
2) I have a Heidescop, which has a removable roll-film back, and I
proposed building another back for it for 220 film. No original
equipment would be touched.
3) I did try your 6-pair advance, following the directions carefully
and using the numbered guide you thoughtfully made for me next to the
red window. It didn't work at all as the spacing was all wrong,
creating overlaps. I didn't pursue this further as I'd prefer to
sacrifice the 6th pair in order to have the wider chips.
4) I thank you for your interest. I will bring the Heidescop to Mesa.
If you're coming perhaps we can compare notes and see why your
Rolleidescop 6-pair advance alteration doesn't work on the Heidescop.
