I called Keiv USA after sending this message and they will repair my
Sputnik. I described the problem to them and they said to just send
the camera in and they'd contact me with an estimate. I don't know if
they would work on any random Sputnik, or just ones that they have
sold.

This is a camera that has work fine until just a few months ago. At a
recent Third Friday Stereo Dinner I passed the camera around hoping
someone would have a good idea and someone noticed that the pressure
plate on the right door was bent. I probably did it by not being
careful closing the doors while changing film on a recent trip.
