I think the rule should be that you can say anything you want to, as

Thanks.  My wife cooked up a surprise birthday party (which I knew 
about) and frankly at 4:30 am, I am still rather crocked.  I was on 
the phone with Paul Talbot, and the operator breaks in due to an 
"emergency."  The emergency turns out to be a table full of my 
friends at the pub, where they were serving 2-for-1 margaritas. 
Stereo!

Myself, I don't believe in astrology, but perhaps I should point out 
that my birthday is the 10th, not the 9th.  (The party was a day 
early in an attempt to surprise me.) So I share a birthday with 
George's daughter.  That should really give him fits.
