I thought the same thing, Greg, but the Logan's is plain flat plexi, 
not tapered.  On the Logan, the light is not reflected directly from 
the lamp, but is bounced all around inside the plexi, so the taper 
isn't necessary.  Pretty neat, eh?

How come you are McGyvering that $80 cabin, anyway?  Great minds, etc.  :^)
