This must be a new product. AltaVista only found three pages
mentioning it. Here's a compilation of all three:

Logan Electric Specialty Manufacturing has announced the release of
their latest item, Model A-5A Slim Edge Light Pad. The light box is
only 1/2-inch thin and the 8" by 10" (4x5 also avail) viewing surface
features bright, illuminating light source of 5400K. The unit can be
used flat on a table, standing at an incline, or hung flat on a wall.
The Light Pad has also been designed to display photo transparencies
held under its clear plastic panel.

Has two 5400K color-corrected lamps with 20,000-hour life.Fits easily
in a briefcase or stores in a desk drawer. Powered by a 12V, DC
adapter.

I really had to hunt for a price. B&H sells Model A-7A (4x5") for
$54.95. For comparison, B&H also has the Cabin 4x5 on special (I
wonder why) for $79.95. Both include adaptors. I'll have to drop by
B&H tomorrow. :^)
