  All the mailing lists I'm on and have
been on have reply to the list (3D list,
Pentax, Bronica, Camera makers, Kodachrome
lists).

  Generally on a discussion list you
want replies to go back to the list.
The exception (as someone mentioned)
are Sell-3D and similar lists.

  The MF3D list is a discussion list
so I'd vote (several times :) for it
to be a reply to the list type.

  Contrary to what the article says
my email program (Eudora pro) only
has one type of reply. Though I
recall my unix days at a previous
company where little r and big R
caused some problems.
