Single camera stereo is very limiting
unless you don't mind retinal rivalry
(from things moving between shots). I
quickly graduated from one Ricohflex
to two after only one or two rolls of
film.

You might look into getting two cameras
of the same type to solve most of those
problems. TLRs like Rolleicords, Autocords,
Yashica's, Diacords etc. $150 to $300 to
get started with those. Or a pair of
Ricohflex's for $60 to $100.

Or maybe a pair of Kiev 60's? Less to
go wrong with those I hear, though the
advance mechanism is supposedly a weak
link.

Real stereo cameras are nicer in many
ways (lens FL matching and shutter sync).
So Spuniks are often the best way to go
unless you can afford a Rolleidoscop or
have the know how to twin some TLRs or
other cameras.
