  I investigated replacing the Sputnik's
clear finder lens (with frosted focusing
spot) with a cut down Hasselblad screen.
But I discovered that the front viewfinder
lens has so much curvature of field that
the edges of the screen would show radically
different focus than the center. So I gave
up on that plan.

  I don't think adding a prism to the
Sputnik would be worth the trouble with
the existing viewfinder lens in place.
