And except for me too. ;>)

If I were to pass on advice, I would recommend starting on
something real simple and cheap, like the Agfa Isolettes, or the
Argus Bricks. No real money lost if one fails. I spent several
years tearing down, cleaning, and repairing antique cameras
before starting my stereo projects. Even with the experience I
have now I would not even think about a SLR project, I know my
limitations.

Let us know first whats to be offered.

On a personal note for those interested: My wife and daughter are
now situated in Escondido, CA and turning the new house into a
home. I'm still stuck in Little Rock until the end of the month
trying to find a break in the work load before packing up the
laboratories and shipping them off.

There was a small camera show here this weekend. Only stereo item
for sale was a TDC ($150) with viewer ($85), I passed on them.
Virtually everything else for sale were SLRs, no antiques. I did
pick up a nifty little circular level that mounts onto a flash
shoe made by Spiratone ($5). Its only about 1/2" square and came
in a really nice jewelry type case. Another dealer was selling
film "guaranteed lowest prices", I don't know if thats true or
not but you can check out www.thefilmclub.com and see for
yourself. I bought some fresh Tri-x Pro from him for $2.50 a
roll.
