Misc.
I mostly have my 12' superbar completed. Boy
is it long! It's exactly 12' lens separation
vs the not-quite 8' (93") of my 8 foot bar.
I have to test it with my two tripods and
see how it works. I'll probably have to move
the two tripod mounting points outwards a
foot or two to prevent excess sag on the bar.
I make make an additional camera mounting
point so I can use it as 10' bar if it turns
out to be too flimsy (or if it's windy on
Canada Day).
Then I'll need to decide what lengths of
cable releases I need to buy to trip my two
Ricohflex's.
---
I stopped at a couple of Friday garage
sales on my way back to work on my lunch
hour. At the second one I got a Canonet G-III
QL17 camera for $20 CDN. These have a very
nice 6 element 40mm f1.7 lens (almost ortho
for the Red Button viewer).
I have one I got a couple years ago from
Pacific Rim Camera for $12US so now I have
a pair for stereo.
When I get the time and energy to do some
full frame 35mm I'm going to put them on
a bar and shoot some test or real photos.
S'all for now - Greg
