 Maybe I didnt give the right description. I think Dura Test claims that by
producing some of the lower frequency UV that all of the visable higher
frequency violets are produced.I guess that by having a higher cut off all
the visable gets through.They also claim the frequencies produced are safe
for normal illumination.  They have a web site that gives a description of
what the Vita lite does.
