Sputnik lenses

One thing I have been noticing on the Sputnik is that one
lens seems to stick out a smidge more. If you are looking
down on top of the camera, back of body facing you, the left
lens sticks out more. At first I thought it had to do with
my adapter rings as my shades are exactly the same. While
filing the rings was when I noticed it was actually the
lens. I looked at the slides to see if one was out of focus
more than the other. Nope. I don't get it. Is this
normal? Maybe this has to do with John B.'s post about one
lens being fuzzier when in the middle #'s.

Also, Greg, I am going to take your advice and stick to f16
or f22 as I did notice some softness when I mounted them and
looked at them through the viewer. The thing that puzzles
me is that the foreground was fuzzier than the background.
I need to pay more attention to my camera settings!!!
