Sputnik and AS&S

The other day I was over at Ernie Rairdin's house having a look
at his Sputnik. He had a dandy little adapter screw that converted
his tripod mounting hole from 3/8-16 threads to 1/4-20 threads.
Does anyone on this list know where I can get one? His seemed to
be a standard product so I don't want to have one made if I can
help it.

Also, I've lost the URL for AS&S. Can anybody on the list post it
for me? What does AS&S stand for anyway? Web searches for "AS&S",
"American Supply and Surplus", and "American Surplus and Supply"
yielded nothing.
