Are you 100% sure there is no haze in the lenses? It seems everyone of those
oldies I've seen (not just the Rolleis) has at least a little, and that's
enough to lower the contrast significantly, specially on those uncoated
lenses. My 'scop was near mint but still had a little haze as well.
Sure are beauties though aren't they? Quite compact as well. I put a new
mirror and bright screen in mine and it's still not all that bright, but
much better.
I'm still deciding what to do about the flocking, a fleck of it does get on
the odd slide and is very annoying, Maybe painting over it with flat black
paint would "glue" it down and still be a fairly good anti-reflective.
What do you think?
