ricoh closeup adapter

I'm back on the list.  I was out of town for two weeks taking care of my
mother's affairs after she died.

I picked up a "Ricoh closeup adapter".  Two friction-fit lenses that pop
over the normal lenses.  It's a "+2" although I can't remember how to apply
that to magnification.

Has anyone used one of these?  I guess I'm stuck with slide-bars until I
find another.  :^)
