I have a borrowed Olympus one that I use. Seem

The red ring end is the one where you can adjust
the amount the plunger leads or lags the other one.
Are you sure the plunger is stuck or do you just
have the adjustment such that the plunger sticks out
a bit at the rest position?

The Widescreen Centre in London sells a double
cable release AFAIR. And possibly Reel 3D too.
