I got mine (an Olympus) from B&H Photo <URL:http://www.bhphoto.com>.
It broke while I was on a trip down to Florida.  Of course I didn't
have any spares with me.  I don't know that it was ever that much of
an improvement over just pushing two cables releases together.

Anyone know how to repair an Olympus double cable release where one of
the cables (the one with the red ring) doesn't retract all the way?
