More on Superslides

I should add that I also use and enjoy GEPE mounts. I purchased
some boxes from Joel at the Bellevue NSA convention. I'm just
about out of them so...

There was some discussion at our stereo club if some kind of
superslide mount could be cobbled together and used in our Brackett
or Realist projectors but nothing seemed to come of it - I suspect
that everyone thought they already had enough to do ;) It has
been on my projects list for some time to create several versions
of such a mount out of cardboard foldovers and see what works.

For example, if an 8p mount (about 36mm wide?) could be shown by a
given projector, then one could try a superslide mount with 36x36
(or so) apertures that may also be projected. The corners may be
cut off, though, or darkened too much. Perhaps then 35x35 would
work, or 34x34, etc. It may also depend on the location of the
apertures in the mount: whether too high, too low, etc.

If the projector can only handle 5p, it may not be worth trying a
superslide mount for it.
