No, 12 pairs. The film runs vertically, not horizontally.

Yeah, I understand. I don't take snapshots much anymore. I still have a
Kodak Stereo in my camera bag. But I hesitate to drag it out. I've found
my self wondering, if it's not an important enough shot to make a nice MF
slide, is it important enough to take at all? I have hundreds of lackluster
5 perf slides I don't like enough to bother mounting. I'd rather have a
couple dozen nice ones.
The color and compostion are fine, but I don't want to show them to
friends, and I don't want to look at them myself. It's like coming to the
realization that you have spent the summer using a disk camera. :^)
I discovered another cool thing about MF. I can load the two film strips
into my Saturn viewer, still in the plastic sleeves, and see all sixteen in
a row without mounting. No more mounting only to find some blemish. I
just thread the strips side-by-side between the wood and the diffuser.
It's slick.
And I tried mounting a superslide. The GEPE mounts work okay. Would be
easier if I had some kind of cutter. I'll mount a few more and put them in
with my GEPE mounted 5 perf slides. Just to see if anyone notices. :^)
Cheers,
Tom
