70mm. Actually they were two 35-70mm pentax lenses, perfectly matched at
the limit.

I still don't prefer them over standard stereo pairs at a normal base, but
admit there are situations where they are both desirable and practical. I
had two Yashika Ds and an A kicking around for some time, so now that I
have the hyper bar I have reason to use them. I plan on trying some B&W
with a deep red filter for effect. On my trip last week I found it very
difficult to find a suitable scene for 4' hypers, mostly because you need a
vantage point with absolutely nothing in the near foreground. Damn trees
and bushes are always in the way!
