This is correct (aperture is not linked). That isn't
-too- much of a problem, as I usually shoot at f/16
or f/22 and vary the shutter speed.

In fairness to Sam, it wasn't so much the difficulty
of the linking (Sam can do --anything--!!!) as I had
told him to keep the total cost of siamesing low, so
we made tradeoffs.
