He's right in thinking that interior baffling makes a *big* difference
in contrast... I've seen chromes from rolleis w/tessar lens in models
both with and without baffling and the difference is obvious. When you
look for a camera, find one with baffling (and of course coated optics).

Nay, Nay. They are a step *down* on the funky scale. :-)  All depends
what you're looking for...
