Good to hear of all the MF-3D progress in Saskatoon.

I had a good canoe trip with Sam's Sputnik. I'm keeping
my fingers crossed for some good exposures. Thanks again
Sam! I'll get the camera packed up and back to you soon.

My twinning project as well as my other 3d work are
likely to slow down during the next few months because
of some major events: 1) our second child is due to join
our family in about a month (my wife says no cameras are
allowed in the delivery room!), 2) we will be moving to
a larger house (partly due to that second child), and 3)
my employer has announced that significant layoffs are
coming within a week or two.

I did buy an interesting outfit a few weeks ago that I
have not yet had time to explore. It is a Speed Graphic
4x5 with a twin-lens lens board and split-image back
designed for taking twin passport photos. The biggest
obstacle right now seems to be the packard (I think that
is what it is called) bulb shutter which opens when you
press the bulb and closes when you let go (i.e. OK for
long exposures only). Has anyone ever seen one of these?

For any of you keeping track of email addresses, my
previous address 'rcc@xxxxxxxx' had to be changed and
is now 'clark@xxxxxxxx'.
