I'm back

Hi gang,

  As you may have figured out I'm back
at work today. My vacation squandered
away :)

  Had a nice 8 day trip visiting friends
and family in Macklin, Red Deer, Lacombe
and Calgary.

  Left the MF stereo equipment behind since
we were travelling light (only took the P&S,
Nimslo, Realist and camcorder :)

  Had a nice visit with Sam and daughter
Miranda in sunny Calgary. Got to see his
creations in person. His class project
multi-format viewer is great. And it wasn't
until I saw it in person that I noticed
that the base of the viewer is a reproduction
of the Calgary Tower.

  I also got to see the MF viewer kit of
Sam's

  It's was very nicely made and the big
lenses are quite decent. Too bad he doesn't
have a bigger supply of the cases and lenses.

  On my own MF front: my Jazz festival
Sputnik roll turned out quite nice. The
E100SW film is very nice. Much finer grained
than the last 100 speed film I tried in MF
(Afga RSX100). Very nice skin tones too.
I may actually buy some of this film once
my freebees run out. So I guess Kodak's
free sample promotion worked on me. :)
