These formulae are only for the odd situation that 
you don't encounter very often.  If you're mathophobic, 
just ignore them.  Very little chance anyone would ever 
use any of these formulae, no matter how easy they are 
to use because for the usual situation of a purpose-
built stereo camera and the usual sort of range of 
distances, there really is no point.  It would only
help if you were doing some tricky table top or unusual
macro with a slide bar.
