  I like that "readily available" qualifier  :)

  But I'm still going to mention Diacords :)  They
sell for around $80 on ebay and around $100 from
camera stores.

  They are less common, are knob wind and require
separate shutter cocking. But have very nice Tessar
style lenses. Nicely cast body with good baffling.

  The local battery store tells me their supplier
(Chinese) isn't making them any more. But supposedly
Varta still makes them (and they are on Varta's
web page www.varta.com).  But maybe they won't be
available in Canada any more.

  I bought a couple for the freezer for my Canonet.
I can call and see if they have any left if you
like.
