In my MF viewer I ended up putting the two
0.8A@xxxx halogens in series. In parallel I
was getting too much voltage drop on my cable
(external battery pack), setdown switch and
the voltage out of the nicads was lower.
Putting them in series made things much
better. I power them from 4 C-cell nicads
which combined with me setdown switch lasts
much longer than I ever use it.
