Hi Sam,

  Welcome back!

Regarding my twin 225 project. Do you have time
to take a look at the shutter assembly to see whether
it is feasible for you to link them for me? I could
mail you the whole camera, but probably just send
the lens/shutter assemble and perhaps the front panel
(so you can see where there are openings and maybe
advise me on aperture linking).

I don't think you've mentioned that the top speeds
slow down. But I'm not surprised since the mechanism
is now moving twice as much mass. How much slow down
do you get?

My second 225 (dead shutter one from ebay) should
be here this week. I'm hoping that the shutter is
actually functional and that the problem is really
in the cocking mechanism in the camera body. We'll
see.

The reason I'm hoping the above is that the
intermittent problem with my present 225 shutter
happened again yesterday. It just clicks and the blades
move a bit (but don't open) when I trip the shutter.
This time I was able to "fix" it quickly by playing
with the flash sync/self timer switch. So perhaps
the problem is related to it.
