Me again!

Hi Guys !

Just got back last night from Ontario. Tons of crap has piled up in the
meantime, but should be almost normal in a couple of weeks.

I took three rolls of 120 stereo during my travels, but I haven't processed
them yet. Trilliums in bloom, antique shops and I even found an old wooden
train car to photograph in a North Dakota field. I brought back with me an
old metal lathe, which was a feat in itself since I drive a Honda Civic!
Should help with my hacking, although it will need extensive restoration
before I can use it.

Tons of email, smail and telephone messages to sort through, but I've got a
few things I want to pass on to some of you guys first:

If Elliott is still on this list, I'll be starting work on your Stereo Pro
sooner than expected. I'll just be working on the body, as I have some
shutter and focus mods I want to revise.

To Gary: Does your Rolliedoscope have a lens cover? The one I picked up
doesn't have one, and I want to know what it looks like. Any instructions or
general info on the camera would also be appreciated.

To Joel: Where did you get your 8x10 litho film ? I want to make some more
120 positives from my slides, and my film is now too old and fogging. Also,
how did you make out with your reversal kit for B&W stereo slides? Is there
anything that will reverse agfa film?

To Greg: Thanks for the notes on your Siamesing project. I love the idea of
using projection to test lenses. I'll be playing with Elliott's camera to
work on merging the two shutters, so I'll kepp you informed to my progress.
As noted before ( I think ) merging the shutters tend to slow down the
higher speeds. I've got a coulpe of ideas as to counteract this, but I'll
have to play to see if they work. Are you planning on putting a page up on
your progress? Love to see it. I've only briefly glanced at your questions,
so please repost any direct questions if you think I can help.

I now have two 90mm Super Omegon lenses in shutters. This screams "project",
as I've used this lens before any the results were superb. I originally
intended to use them for stereo macro cameras, but I may be tempted to build
a MF stereo camera out of them.

Gotta run. It's good to be back, and glad to hear the list is still going
strong after two years.
