One way (if you're shooting in "landscape" mode) is to use a View Magic
print viewer on a light table. You can also cross-eye freeview the
images on a light table. But a better way is to build a "Wheatstone"
style viewer. Check out Stephen's projects:

Probably somewhat subjective, but I think there is benefit from the extra
area. Whether it justifies the extra work needed to get the images is of
course open for debate ;)

Of course, if you're like Stephen, you build your own 4x5 stereo camera!!!
