My Sputnik lenses are quite sharp. (Both
my opinion and folio members.) And I do
usually shoot at f16 or 22.
But the limited lower shutter speeds
sometimes prevent that. That was part of
the reason for my Sputnik Solenoid project
(unfinished). To get 1/2 and 1/4 second
using the B position.
The poor viewfinder (for framing and
focusing) prevents me (largely) from
attempting people photographs with my
Sputnik. I use my Realist for that
(photos of my kids).
Hopefully a twin Diacord or 225 would
work better for people photos.
